IN GREAT KNEIGHTON

Travel by bike

Cycling forms a major part of the Cambridge lifestyle and is a popular way of getting around the city. Cycling in Cambridge is seen as fast, convenient, healthy and cost effective, allowing users to save on the running and parking costs associated with car travel.

Due to the layout and flat topography of the city most destinations are within an easy cycle ride of Great Kneighton. High quality, direct and well lit cycle routes are provided throughout the development, connecting with existing routes and infrastructure throughout the city.

Further to local cycle routes running throughout Great Kneighton, a strategic cycle route runs between Addensbrookes Road to the south and the Spine Road to the north. In addition a cycleway also follows the Cambridge Guided Busway which routes through the centre of Great Kneighton, providing a quick and convenient cycle route to Cambridge Railway Station and City Centre.
